Jennifer Larson

Jennifer Larson, MBA, is the Director of Academic Strategic Initiatives at Humber Polytechnic, where she provides strategic leadership and oversight for a range of academic priorities. Her portfolio includes leadership of the Teaching and Learning Innovation Fund, the Journal of Innovation in Polytechnic Education, and the implementation of the Academic Plan.

Prior to her current role in the Office of the Senior Vice President, Academic, Jennifer held several management positions at Humber, including Public Affairs Manager, Partnership Development Manager, and Strategic Communications & Innovation Manager. Her career also spans leadership roles in both the private and public sectors, including positions at KPMG Canada and the Greater Toronto Airports Authority.

Jennifer holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy from the University of Guelph, a post-graduate certificate in Corporate Communications from Seneca Polytechnic, and a Master of Business Administration from McMaster University. She has earned certifications in Marketing Management, Project Management, Strategy, Work-Integrated Learning Foundations, Innovation, Design Thinking, and Change Management.

Jennifer is passionate about the benefits an integrated planning approach brings for organizations in aligning priorities and supporting strategic decision-making.
