
Dr. Gina Antonacci is the senior vice-president, academic (SVPA) at Humber. Gina began her career at Humber as a part-time faculty member in the Police Foundations Program. She then went on to become a program coordinator, associate dean, senior dean and associate vice-president, academic. Before joining Humber, Gina worked for the Ontario Ministry of Correctional Services as a probation and parole officer and a senior staff development officer.
Gina holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto, a Master of Science in Criminal Justice from Niagara University and a PhD from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, University of Toronto. Her dissertation entitled "The Transformation of Three Colleges to Institutes of Technology and Advanced Learning in Ontario” explores the transformation of three colleges in Ontario and how they adapted as they expanded their credentials to include baccalaureate degrees.
